Plus 20 per cent for DIY stores in the Netherlands

DIY stores in the Netherlands had sales totalling around EUR 1.9 bn in the first half of 2022. This is an increase of 19.9 per cent compared with the same period last year, reports the Dutch trade magazine Mix with reference to the GfK DIY Recap. This strong growth stems from the first quarter, when sales were 69 per cent higher than in the same period of 2021, which was heavily affected by the coronavirus  lockdown.
