Eastman Cast & Forge is a manufacturer and supplier of Eastman brand hand tools and chrome vanadium spanners. The ISO 9002-certified company, which today has a workforce of 426, is part of the Eastman Group of Industries. The manufacturing plant at Ludhiana, Punjab, is capable of producing 12 mio spanners annually.
The company has made a name for itself as a supplier to the automotive industry. However, the products have also been distributed through retailers in national and international markets since 1995. The company has a comprehensive network of 250 dealers selling its products in India alone. Its export business currently extends to France, Belgium, Portugal, Greece, Sweden, Turkey, Panama, Peru, Malaysia, China and Israel, and now the company is planning further expansion onto international markets in Europe and Africa, as well as Central and South America.
A tool set has been developed specially for DIYers. It includes a spanner, measuring tape, chisel, cutter, hammer and pliers.
