Retail Technology Forum

Zygmunt Mierdorf, who is responsible for informatics, logistics and e-business on the executive board of Metro, will be the opening speaker at the third Annual Global Retail Technology Forum in Paris from 9 to 11 April 2002. His topic: Reinventing the Retail Business Infrastructure. This involves the integration of all business procedures into the existing IT infrastructure, for example, and supply chain management, procurement of goods via Internet market places, and CPFR (Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment).
