Sears closes another 103 stores

The US trade company Sears has announced the closure of more stores in the USA. Between the start of March and the start of April 2018, 39 Sears stores and 64 Kmart stores are to be closed, states the company. Liquidation sales are starting as early as this week, on 12 January.
The company explains that it will be closing some unprofitable stores as announced, as it wants to transform its business model so that its physical store footprint and the digital capabilities match the needs and preferences of its members.
