Spanish DIY stores announce short-time work

In Spain, three DIY store chains have announced different degrees of short-time work. The start was made by Brico Dépôt as early as 20 March. Bauhaus and Leroy Merlin are now also applying these measures, Ferretería y Bricolage reports. Online sales at all three chains are continuing. Since Monday 30 March 2020, all companies in industries which are not classified as absolutely essential have had to stop work.
